Hike along the vineyards of Lavaux

Welcome to a beautiful hike from Lutry to Grandvaux. We walk along the terraced vineyards from the 12th century – and now a UNESCO World Heritage Site – with views of the mountains and Lake Geneva. Many opportunities for nice photos and to learn about the wine that is grown here. In Grandvaux we take a break and the club offers a traditional picnic with wine grown along the hike, bread and cheese.

From Grandvaux we go down to Cully to catch a bus back to Lutry and Lausanne. Those who want to hike further can continue towards Epesses and Saint-Saphorin, and return from there. sign up forHenrik so we can plan a picnic. No cost for members, 10 chf for non-members.Start:Lutry's station at 10.20 (Exvis IR train from Geneva 09:11, arrival Lausanne 09:47. "Train bus" towards Vevey from Quai F 10:04, arrival Lutry gare 10:19). There is car parking at the station.Returnfrom Cully to Lutry/Lausanne 2 times per hour NOTE: Due to track work, all local trains between Lausanne and Vevey are replaced by buses 30/4-1/5. The bus departs from Avenue de la Gare in front of Lausanne station. The hike is 5.5 km to Cully and goes between 400 and 500 m above sea level on stone-paved hiking trails (200m total height difference). A map of the hike is availablehere.
